What Is the Difference between Full-Spectrum, Broad-Spectrum, and Isolate CBD Oil?

Our customers are always asking us what the difference is between Full-Spectrum, Broad-Spectrum, and Isolate CBD.    These three types of CBD are all slightly different from each other, therefore it is important to know the difference so you can make the appropriate decision when choosing the CBD best suitable!

Full-Spectrum CBD

Full- Spectrum CBD simply means the whole hemp plant is used to produce the CBD oil.  During the extraction process, all the natural ingredients of the plant are utilized and included.  The hemp plant is loaded with extremely beneficial cannabinoids, flavonoids, terpenes, and THC that provide important therapeutic value.  When combined, this produces what is known as the "Entourage Effect," which is the effect of cannabinoids and terpenes all working together in perfect synergy.  We will always recommend our customers to take the Full-Spectrum because of this!  Keep in mind, Full-Spectrum DOES have trace amounts of THC.  The levels of THC are .3% or lower and will not produce any psychoactive effect.  However, if you cannot have any trace amounts of THC in your blood, it is recommended to take a THC free CBD (Isolate or Broad Spectrum).

Broad-Spectrum CBD

Broad-Spectrum CBD oil uses the full plant and all its natural ingredients during the extraction process except for THC.  An easy way to understand Broad-Spectrum is that its Full-Spectrum minus the THC.  Taking a broad-spectrum CBD is a good way to achieve the benefits of all the cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids for those who cannot have trace amounts of THC in their system.

Isolate CBD

Isolate CBD oil is the process of isolating CBD from all other cannabinoids during extraction.  The CBD isolate is the purest form of CBD, HOWEVER, due to the removal of all cannabinoids, terpenes, flavonoids, and THC during the extraction process, you do not receive the enhanced benefits of the entire hemp plant.  It is suggested when taking a CBD isolate, to take a higher dosage to better achieve the effects due to the isolation of CBD.
